Manila City

 

Located near the Manila Bay area, Manila is known for its beautiful sunset. It is also known as the capital of the Philippines where the seat of government is found. Malacanang Palace, the official residence of the president, is located along the historic Pasig river. Some famous landmarks that are located in Manila are the Intramuros, Fort Santiago and Rizal park. Other well-known structures are the Manila Central Post Office Building, the Supreme Court Building and the National Museum of the Philippines (Old Congress Building).

 

Baguio City

 

It is the "summer capital" of the Philippines and it is a city located on the Cordillera mountain range. It is known for its cool weather, pine trees and some spectacular scenery. It was a mountain settlement which was re-designed by Daniel Burnham, and the city was established in 1900.

 

Quezon City

 

It is one of the largest cities in the Philippines in terms of population size and in terms of land area. It is a city of many an affordable housing that are mixed with a number of world-class shopping and wholesome entertainment districts. It is home to small-and-medium scale businesses and industries that generate a lot of wealth for the city, but there are also well-known corporations located in this city that was envisioned by Manuel L. Quezon, the first president of the Philippine Commonwealth.

 

Tagaytay City

 

It is located just south of Metro Manila. It is a favorite vacation spot of Metro Manila dwellers because of its easy accessibility, cool weather, beautiful mountain sceneries and the good accommodations available in the city.

It is a historic site and a tourist destination located at the entrance of Manila Bay. The island serves as a memorial to the Filipinos' (and Americans') heroism during World War II.

 

Fort Santiago, Manila

It is located inside the historic walled city of Manila or the Intramuros and it is one of the tourist attractions in Manila.

 

Rizal Park, Manila

It is a large and spacious park located near the Manila Bay area. In this park stands an iconic structure: the Rizal monument. Rizal Park is one of the tourist attractions in Manila.

 

Subic Bay Freeport Zone

It was formerly an American naval base in the Philippines. In 1991, the base was returned to the Philippine government and, later, it became an economic free zone....It is located in the cool mountains of Zambales and it is a "clean and green" free port.

 

Other Places

 

Pagsanjan

It is located in the province of Laguna and it is known for its waterfalls, the Pagsanjan falls, which is a tourist attraction.

 

Parks and Wildlife Center, Quezon City

As the name of the park clearly suggests, Parks and Wildlife is a nature's park, and it is located near the Quezon memorial circle and in-between North Avenue and Quezon Boulevard.

 

Picnic Grove, Tagaytay City

It is known as the “people's park” and it is located along the mountain slopes in Tagaytay city. It offers a spectacular view of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano.
